Mixed Heritage

The animals on this page are derived from very diverse bloodlines.  Some are mixed known locality animals and others are from unknown locality specimens.

Female ID# 00109

Hatched in 2000 by Mike Jarvis

Dam: Sorong    Sire: PNG line

This female is being bred with male "Blue Max" (pictured below), owned by Greg Gibbs, in 2004.

This female was bred with Greg Gibbs male Biak Outcross in 2005.  Click here to view images of the offspring.

This female was bred to our Merauke Outcross which was produced by Trooper Walsh and is a possible heterozygous albino.  Click here to view images of the clutch.

We are attempting to repeat the 2005 pairing with the Greg Gibbs male Biak Outcross.  Unfortunately, this female laid a clutch of 25 eggs but only three were properly shelled and they did not develop.

OK, one more time we are attempting to repeat the 2005 pairing with the Greg Gibbs male Biak Outcross.   She laid a decent size clutch of 22 egg's on 10 Feb 2009.  Unfortunately only 6 or 7 appear fertile.  With a little luck we'll get a few more outstanding neo's.  This clutch is due to hatch late March.

Female ID# 00111

Hatched in 2000 by Mike Jarvis

Dam: Sorong    Sire: PNG

This female is being bred with a Baik male, ID# 01049, in 2004.  Several copulations have been observed.

20 Offspring successfully hatched on 31 July 2004.  Click here to view pictures of the clutch.  These were some of the most variable and unique animals we've produced!

This female was bred to the male "Blue Max" which was on loan from Greg Gibbs.  17 offspring were produced in 2005 from this pairing.  Click here to view images of the clutch.

This female was bred to one of our blue line males 02153 in 2007.  She laid 30 eggs on 9 June 2007 but only 15 appear fertile at the time of laying.  Click here to view images of the female and her clutch.

This female is being bred to an imported blue male owned by Peter Erickson in 2008.  Hopefully this will help expand the genetic diversity of the US blue lines.  It appears that this female ovulated around mid April 08.  She laid a clutch of 23 eggs on 9 June 2008.  At the time of laying all eggs appear fertile.  Click here for images of the female and her clutch.

This female was paired with our blue and black male 05188 in 2009.  She laid a clutch of 26 eggs on 25 June 2009 but only half appear fertile at the time of laying.  Click here for images of the female and her clutch.

Blue Line

Hatched in 2002 by Trooper Walsh.

Dam: Forrest    Sire: Mr.Blue

We are planning on breeding this male to the female, ID# 00111, in 2007.  This is the same female which produced some incredible high blue animals when bred to Greg Gibbs male "Blue Max".

Male ID# "Blue Max"

This incredible male was on loan to us from Greg Gibbs.

He was paired with female 00111 in 2005 and produced 17 incredible offspring.  Click here to view images of the female and the clutch.

The image below is provided by Greg Gibbs.

Female ID# 03005

Sire: "Glaser" line owned by Dr. Guido Westhoff, CBB 1997.

Dam: Biak female owned by Dr. Guido Westhoff, CBB 1996.

We acquired this female in 2003 from Mark Twigg of Arboreals Plus.  This animal was part of a group of 6 neonates imported by Mark from Dr. Westhoff's 2001 pairing of the above animals.  As you can see by the sire the Glaser line is known for it's high blue animals.  The parents of the sire were a high blue Sorong-type male and a pure Biak-type female.

We paired this female with our "Carolina" 02152 line male in 2006 in hopes of producing some high blue animals from this line again.  Unfortunately this female produced a nice size clutch but with only one fertile egg.  Below are images of the neonate.

Female ID# 03032

Captive bred at our facility 27 June 2003.

Dam ID# 97072     Sire ID# EA9502

This female is the result of a pairing between one of our PNG line females and a Trooper Walsh line male.

She was paired with our mite phase male 02126 in 2007.  Her clutch was laid from the perch but many of the eggs still appear viable.  The clutch began hatching on 24 June 07.  Click here to see images of the clutch.

This female is currently out on loan.

Male ID# 04158

Produced in July 2004 by Michael Hance from pairing an imported Biak type female to an imported Cyclop type male.

We are pairing him with a High Yellow line female, EA0312, in 2007.

The 2007 pairing didn't take so we are trying again with the same female.  Hopefully the male is now mature and ready.

We are pairing him with a Kofiau female, 05028, in 2008.

Female ID# 05016 (TW2601)

This female is on loan from Trooper Walsh and was produced by Buddy Goetzger of Arboreal Adventures.  This females lineage traces back to the gravid wild collected female imported by Switak and the Zulich blue line.

We paired this girl with one of our Aru males, 99026, in 2006.  A nice clutch of 17 neonates hatched on 22 Sept. 2006.  Click here to view images of the neonates.

This female is being paired with a blue line male 02152 produced by Trooper Walsh from his very successful blue pairing between Carolina and John Holland's "Mr. Blue".  The pairing of these two lines previously by BJ Arboreals resulted in some outstanding blue animals.  This female appears to have ovulated in late February.  A clutch of 27 eggs was laid 16 April 2008.  Click here to see images of the female and the clutch.

Unfortunately, this female died 24 May 2008 due to complications from a respiratory infection.

Female ID# 05021

Dam ID# 00109    Sire ID# GM0202

This girl was produced here at Signal Herp. in 2005 from a breeding loan between us an Greg Gibbs.  This specimen hatched as a nearly solid black patternless animal.  She is turning into a very unusual specimen.

Male ID# 05022

Dam ID# 00109    Sire ID# GM0202

This male was produced here at Signal Herp. in 2005 from a breeding loan between us an Greg Gibbs.  He has turned into a very interesting specimen.

Male ID# 05046 (TW1601)

This is a Merauke Outcross produced by Trooper Walsh from his proven heterozygous albino male.  The dam was a nice blue line female named Forest.  This male has a 50% chance to be a heterozygous albino.  We hope to prove him out in 2007 with a known het female.

We bred this male to one of our PNG x Sorong females, 00109, in 2006.  A clutch of 23 eggs was laid.  Click here to see the female on eggs and the offspring.

Male ID# 05188

Captive bred at our facility 8 September 2005.

Dam: 00069     Sire: 02152

This male was the result of crossing one of our TW blue line males (Mr. Blue x Carolina) with one of our PNG line females.  We hope to be pairing him up in the spring of 2008.

This male was paired with a female (Shade) owned by Chris Haight in spring of 2008.  She produced a clutch of 13 eggs and they are expected to hatch around the first of May.  This clutch began hatching on 29 April 2008.  Click here to see images of the neonates.

In 2009 we entered into another project with Chris Haight.  This time pairing him to a female named Smurffette from the Walsh & Holland "Mr. Blue x Carolina" clutch.  This 2009 pairing represents one of the highest concentrations of blue genetics to date.   Here is the pedigree for the pairing.

We also paired this male with one of our mixed heritage females, ID# 00111, in 2009.  Unfortunately only one offspring survived.  Click here to see images of the female and the neo.

Female ID# 06009

Dam: O.S. HY Line    Sire: Imp Blue & pic 2

This female is from one of two clutches this blue male produced prior to passing away.  We have several females and two male from this pairing and are going to try and recreate the appearance of the original male with some sibling pairings.

She was paired with her sibling, 08001, in 2009.  She laid a clutch of 22 eggs on 19 June 2009.  21 eggs appear fertile with one obviously infertile egg.  Click here to see images of the female and her clutch.
