The animals shown below are being offered for sale from Trooper Walsh.  These yearlings were produced in 2008 by Tim Morris and were a joint project with Trooper.  The sire was a pure Merauke local type with a 50% possibility of carrying the albino gene.  The dam was very nice Nicoli line Aru type with a lot of white and blue.  These yearlings are turning out to have a great deal of white for being captive born and bred.  The small possibility (25% chance) of carrying the albino gene is a nice bonus. If you are looking to get into the albino chondro project this may be an affordable way to do it.

Male

$550.00

This male is from a group of animals we acquired in the spring of 2009.  He is a sub adult and is probably around 2 years old.  He was represented as a Padaido locality specimen.  The Padaido archipelago is a group of small islands near the island of Biak.  These specimens usually have the typical Biak appearance.  This one is developing a lot of nice white scales. He currently weighs 214 grams.

Designer

This is a designer type pairing that has the potential to produce some amazing animals.  Both parents were red neonates so we expect a predominantly red clutch.  The dam is from our well known Tiger Stripe clutch which produced a lot of incredible animals.  The sire was produced by John Holland from a pairing between his Moken x Scarab.  Both parents have some incredible designer genetics including producing a paradox animal.  The possibilities are really almost endless with this clutch.

A clutch of 19 eggs was laid on 17 June 2009.  Click here for images of the female and her clutch.  The clutch began hatching on 5 August 09.

This is a sibling pairing.  The sire to these two was an incredible high blue animal.  Here are a couple pictures of the sire, Imp Blue & pic 2. He was brought into the U.S. as a farmed neonate.  We were lucky enough to acquire a group of animals from his first clutch.  The goal of this pairing is to reproduce the incredible blue appearance of the sire.

A clutch of 22 eggs was laid on 19 June 2009.  Click here to see images of the female and her clutch.  The clutch began hatching on 7 August 09.

Blue line

This is a blue line pairing with animals from two different lines.  The female was sired by an import blue male bred with an OS High Yellow line female.  The male is from our 2005 pairing with blue Blue Max.  This should make for animals with a good chance of showing high blue coloration.  She laid a clutch of 18 eggs on 1 July 09.  Unfortunately they were laid from a perch and some were in the water bowl.  Only time will tell if any are going to hatch.

Clutch hatched on 18 August 2009 but only four hatchlings made it out of the eggs.  Click here for images of the neonates.

2010 Pairings

Female ID# 07235

Cyclop type

Clutch 2

This is a Cyclop type pairing.  The female laid a clutch of 11 eggs from her perch on 20 April 2010.  Ten appeared fertile at the time of laying but one has gone bad early in incubation.  Expected hatch date is around 9 June.  Hatchlings (if any) will probably be held back and sold as sexed yearlings.

Hatching on target 9 June 2010.  Click here for images of the hatching.

Female ID# 05231

Clutch 4

This is a Wamena type pairing.  The female laid a clutch of 14 eggs on 27 April 2010.  Nearly all eggs show strong vein growth and expected hatch date is around 15 June.  Click here for images of the female and her clutch.

Female ID# 09001

Clutch 6

This is a crossing between a Prada line Manokwari type female and one of our blue line males.  With the females natural blue coloration we are hoping to infuse some new blood and hopefully produce some nice blue offspring.  She laid a clutch of 14 eggs on 5 May 2010.  13 were fertile at the time of laying and we are hoping for a nice hatch toward the end of June.  Click here for images of the female and her clutch.

Hatching began 24 June 2010.

Female ID# 03089

Clutch 7

This is a Biak locality type pairing.  Both parents were maroon neonates and so we expect a predominantly maroon clutch.  The sire shows a little black speckling in his pattern but a few of his siblings developed far more than he did. A total of 19 eggs were laid with 18 appearing fertile at the time of laying.  If all goes well we should have hatchlings in early July.  Click here for images of the female and her clutch.

Hatching began 5 July 2010.

Clutch 8

This is a high yellow project where both parents were maroon neonates.  The sire is on loan from Francisco Torres and we are obviously both very excited about the potential of this pairing.  We expect a predominantly or entirely maroon clutch.  A total of 20 eggs were laid on 15 May 2010 and all eggs appear fertile at the time of laying.  With luck we should have hatchlings in early July.  Click here for images of the female and her clutch.

Clutch 9

This is a designer line pairing that should produce mostly maroon neonates.  The offspring should develop nice rich green body color with strong blue dorsal markings.  There is a chance some may become high blue adults.  This female's notable clutches have included her pairing with Blue Max and the Tiger Stripe clutch.  26 eggs (24 fertile & 2 infertile) were laid on 28 June 2010.  The clutch should hatch around the middle of August.  Click here for images of the female and her clutch.

Clutch 13

This female was paired with her brother, 09003, in 2010 in hopes of reproducing the appearance of their sire, "Enigma" a paradox pic 2, who was owned by Brandon Osborne.  She ovulated on 9 June 2010 and laid a clutch of 22 eggs on 21 July.  Unfortunately, only six eggs appear fertile at the time of laying.
