Prepayment is required with all orders. We now welcome your credit card purchases as well as cash, money orders, wire transfers, personal and bank checks. Personal checks must clear before the animals can be shipped. Please contact us by phone to be sure the animal(s) you are interested in is still available before sending any money.
Tennessee residents or those picking up animals must add 9.25% sales tax to all purchases.
Live arrival will be guaranteed with FedEx shipments when temperatures are between 28 - 85 degrees F and the package is picked up at the closest FedEx sort facility. When shipping via the airlines we guarantee live arrival as long as temperatures are between 40 - 90 degrees F along the entire shipping route. Packages should be picked up within 3 hours of arrival. Live arrival is not guaranteed with "door to door" shipments. Be sure to inspect the animal at the time of pickup. If a problem exists please contact us immediately.
All of our animals are healthy and feeding at the time of shipment and should continue to thrive for you. If you have difficulty with feeding or suspect any health problems please contact us as soon as possible. We will do everything we can, within reason, to assist you.
Veterinary health certificates are required for most international order and can be included with domestic purchases at your request but will incur additional charges. Charges will vary depending on the level of testing you request.
We recommend all new acquisitions to any collection be quarantined for a minimum of 30 days. Examinations by your own qualified reptile veterinarian is also advisable.
Once pairings for the upcoming season have been determined they will be posted on the Surplus page. At that time we will begin taking names for a notification list. Being placed on a notification list does not obligate you to a purchase. It simply provides you the opportunity to select specimens prior to them being placed on our surplus page for public sale. Once we have decided which specimens will be available an email notification will be sent to those on the list.
We do not accept deposits on animals that have not been produced. This allows you to change your mind and keeps us from having to refund deposits on animals we did not produce.
We prefer deposits of 20% of the invoice total and no less than $100.00 per specimen. Payment plans should be completed within 3 to 4 months. Any of the forms of payment mentioned above are welcome.
Initial deposits on recent hatchlings will be refunded in full if we cannot provide you with the animal agreed upon. If you change your mind on the purchase of animals that are "ready to ship" the deposit will be refunded at 75% within the first 30 days and 50% within the first 60 days. Deposits and payment plans delinquent more than 60 days will be non-refundable. We understand that emergencies do arise but please stay in contact with us and we will work with you as best we can. Deposit balances may be transferred to another available animal within one year of the date we receive your original deposit.
Livestock sales are final. Returns are not permitted and refunds will not be issued on animals which have left our facility. As we have no control over the environment and pathogens the animals may encounter once they leave our care it would jeopardize our collection to expose it to a retuning specimen. Any exceptions will be at our discretion.
International orders are welcome but are subject to a $2,500.00 minimum order. CITES export permits issued by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service are required. A 50% non refundable deposit is required prior to beginning the application process. If for some reason we cannot obtain the export permits your deposit will be refunded. However, orders canceled during the application process or after export permits have been issued will not be refunded. The cost of CITES permits is $100.00. Additional cost typically associated with exports include $201.00 USFWS export inspection, $45.00 Health Certificate and shipping costs. Shipping costs will vary depending on the size and weight of the shipment and the carriers used. We will cover the cost of all export fees, excluding shipping costs, on orders over $4,000.00.
Unless otherwise specified all of our hatchling green tree pythons are unsexed. In an effort to avoid selling animals with kinked vertebrae we do not sex hatchlings. We will sex animals that are above 75 grams or approximately 8 to 10 months old. If you require accurately sexed animals it may be to your advantage to consider purchasing older sexed individuals. Sex determinations will be made to the best of our ability at the time of sale. Buyers must confirm the sex of their animal within 48 hours of receipt and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.
